"WHAT DO I BRING?"

Participant Packing List:
 
Gear:
Sleeping bag (rated to minimum of 45 degrees)
Sleeping bag liner recommended but not required
Sleeping mat
Backpack, MUST have waistband with clips (minimum of 50L)  
Backpack rain cover or a plastic bag will be provided
 
Feet: 
1 pair waterproof hiking boots (good ankle support
4 pairs hiking socks
1 pair close-toed water shoes (crocks are ideal)
 
Body:
2 pair hiking shorts( nylon is best, nylon/cotton blend is good, cotton is not recommended)
1 pair long underwear bottoms 
1 pair warm synthetic fleece paints
3-4 hiking/athletic shirts
1 set of wool/fleece undershirt and pants (think long/underwear or baselayer) Lightweight Sweater/jacket
1 rain jacket (waterproof)
1 fleece cap (covers ears)
1 baseball cap
3-4 bras (if applicable) sports bras are highly recommended  

Personal:
Medication (including regularly used OTCs) for at least 6 days (with prescriptions)
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
2 water bottles (32 oz plastic water bottle with cap such as Nalgene)
Small flashlight an extra batteries (headlamps are preferable)  
Feminine products, along with necessary hygiene items (see additional documents for further information)  

Recommended/optional:
Rain pants
Bug net/mask
Journal (in Ziploc bags to ensure try)
Pen 
Sacred Text (Bible, Koran, etc)
