ServeUP 2022 New Orleans a success!
Over 150 students from 25 New England Campuses served over 15 homeowners in New Orleans and St Johns Parish during March 2022.

In March of 2023, Serveup will be returning to New Orleans!
 
ServeUP was born out of Hurricane Katrina devastating New Orleans in August of 2005.  InterVarsity students responded by serving the city of New Orleans from 2006-2017 before moving to serve those who had lost homes through storms in Baton Rouge, Houston, Puerto Rico and Panama City over the past number of years!  
The desire to return was sparked by New Orleans’ Ninth Ward’s lack of recovery in these past 17 years.   Then in August of 2021, Hurricane IDA packed the second largest punch of any storm on the Gulf Coast, leaving many without shelter.   Intervarsity will coordinate students like yourself to come to the “Big Easy” to help restore housing and hope to families in need.
