ECOWILD 2022 JULY 11-15

What does the future hold for our planet? What role will you play in caring for the environment?
The earth needs healing, and humans aren't always responsible global citizens. But you can change that.
Join the EcoWild team for a five-day backpacking adventure among the beauty and healing qualities of New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
EcoWild is not just a backpacking trip. We'll spend our time in conversation around global environmental influences and justice issues. Daily discussions focus on human responsibility in sustainability and lifestyle. Using the Abenaki belief in the Great Spirit (or 'the hidden one behind all things'), we'll reflect on nature's spiritual significance in our personal journeys.
What is ServeUp and what does it have to do with EcoWild?
For years, ServeUp has linked arms to care for people impacted by disaster and have a place to have conversations around faith, service and justice. Since Hurricane Katrina over 8000 New England students have rebuilt homes on the Gulf Coast. Now we're seeking to join in the conversation and commit to exploring our care for the natural world and how that intersects with faith through a 5 day hike in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Begin the Journey:
Join us for EcoWild 2022 in July 11-15 of 2022.
Once you've submitted the application, Tom Brink, EcoWild Director, will contact you with the next steps. We will choose the final team by May 13.
You don't have to be a passive observer in the ongoing demise of the environment. Join EcoWild to become an agent of change for the betterment of the world.
*EcoWild is a program of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. The cost for the total EcoWild experience is $150. COVID-19 safety protocols and wilderness travel guidelines will be observed at all times.
